How It All Works...

Employers come to Games Match USA to find game industry professionals. They access our directory using the Resume Database, or post job vacancies directly on our jobs board. We cover all professions in the game industry.

  1. How Employers Search

Often employers search the Games Match USA Resume Database and contact candidates directly, rather than posting vacancies on our jobs board. Employers perform cross-referenced resume searches based on a variety of options.

  2. Jobs Board

We find as many types of game industry jobs as we can and post them on our jobs board; employers also come to our site and post their vacancies directly. When a job is posted that corresponds to one of your selected job types we send you an instantaneous email alert; you can either apply via the link provided in the email, or find the job on the jobs board. Either way, your resume gets sent directly to the employer.

  3. Your Resume

Select the criteria you would like to be searched by, according to your qualifications. Type your employment history and other information about yourself into the spaces provided. You may also choose whether or not to have your contact numbers displayed. In addition to these details, you can upload your own Word resume directly to your resume, which employers can then download.

  4. Images and MP3s

You can upload a photograph or other image, or an MP3 sample of your work to your profile. Please note: this will be visible on the Games Match USA home page.

  5. Here's looking at you kid!

Every week you will be sent an email letting you know which employers have viewed your resume.

Games Match USA subscription charges

There is no cost for registering with Games Match USA and posting your resume. However, your resume will not be searchable by employers and you will not be able to apply for positions on the jobs board until you have subscribed as a premium member.
