Are you able to drive results and lead teams to effectively service and launch our clients and online video game projects (mobile, social, browser based and MMOs)? Come join our team, an industry leader in Live Game Operations working on AAA online video game titles, where we’re looking for a leader who can maintain customer relationships while scaling and building our Operations Group. You will be tasked with directing the efforts from customer service to risk mitigation where attention to detail is crucial to the team’s success and cognitive thinking is essential. You must have 5-7 years’ experience in operations at an online video game publisher or developer. Ideally a bachelor’s degree in finance or engineering operations field with at least 5 years of experience is desired. Organizational Planing and Structure:

• Defines matrix organization across game titles and functional departments
• Offers technical support across practices in offering definition and positioning.
• Builds an organization that can scale from 100 to 400 employees across multiple satellite offices
• Manages client relationships/expectations for operations projects that span systems engineering, development and support of online game titles.

Technical Effort Management;

• Promotes and coordinates technical knowledge and project management disciplines within the organization.
• Suggests alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently, and/or with greater reusability, and / or longer life.
• Defines, communicates and enforces best practices and standards.
• Tracks and identifies new opportunities to improve our methodology and training offerings.
• Assists in strategic sales efforts from a technical perspective.
• Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.


Qualifications:

• 5-7 years experience in the online video game industry in operations
• Solid experience of new technologies and solutions
• Strong experience in consulting type engagements with clients
• Experience in software development / coding
• Experience with large scale system migrations
• Knowledge of IT operations
• Strong project and time management principles, methods & techniques.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at a time
• Excellent communication, administrative and documentation skills
