IT Program/Project Manager

About the job

We are seeking an IT Project Manager who will be responsible for managing projects to drive a high performance IT services organization. The role involves working with the IT team to capture and provide visibility to business leaders and key project stakeholders of project status, priority, and IT roadmaps.

Duties will include collaborating with members of IT technology leads, key business stakeholders, and other studio resources as required.
This is a temporary, 3-month contract position with the opportunity to convert to a permanent role

Responsibilities:

Provide visibility of project status, priority, and IT roadmap and backlog
Manage the overall delivery of all IT projects
Be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed project schedules and status reports
Plan for the impact of projects across all aspects of Riot Games and to Riot Games’ Partners
Ensure procedures and processes are clearly and accurately documented and implemented
Identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate

Requirements:

5+ years in project management and with a variety of project management methodologies
A proven track record of successfully managing IT projects
Effective at building relationships with all parts of the business to be an effective project manager
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented approach to problem solving
Proven ability to establish and run effective teams

Preferred:

Experience in a software development environment or video game studio
Experience working with Windows operating systems in corporate environments
Experience directing enterprise application deployments
Strong background/interest in application and infrastructure design
Experience with organizational change management efforts
